This season hasn't been kind to the Jefferson Democrats, who are still winless after their tenth game. They were dealt a 68-22 defeat at the hands of Diego Rivera on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Jefferson has suffered since November 16, 2023.
Diego Rivera got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameron Cole out in front who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristopher Zamora, who scored 13 points.
Jefferson's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Diego Rivera, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5.
Jefferson will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Manual Arts at 4:30 p.m. As for Diego Rivera, Diego Rivera and West Adams will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
