Football Recap: Madison Falls Short Against Ranked Skyline + How To Watch

Madison faced Skyline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bobcats and the Grizzlies were almost perfectly matched up, but the Bobcats suffered a 28-27 defeat. The matchup was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Bobcats couldn't quite close it out.

Zyan Crockett had an outrageously good game for Skyline as he picked up 186 receiving yards and two scores, and also rushed for 62 yards. Those 186 receiving yards gave Crockett a new career-high.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Skyline, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will face off against Blackfoot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Skyline, they will venture away from home to face off against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
