Softball Recap: Donna Takes a Loss

After a string of three wins, Donna's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Rivera Raiders by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in February.

Anaya Gonzalez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Shelby Colunga, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Donna's loss dropped their record down to 10-15-1. As for Rivera, their record now sits at 10-13-1.

Looking ahead, Donna will venture away from home to take on Pace at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Redskins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rivera, they will be playing at home against Porter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
