Softball Recap: Caston Takes a Loss

Caston fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Argos on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 6-5. Surprisingly, this marked the Comets' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Kylee Logan was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Caston has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 5-15 record this season. As for Argos, their record now sits at 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caston will challenge Pioneer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Argos, they will square off against Kouts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
