Branson had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 68-14 win over the Roseland University Prep Knights . Winning may never get old, but the Bulls sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Branson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tom Lardner, who threw for 200 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score. Lardner didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, made seven total tackles, and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception. Another receiver making a difference was Spencer Weinberg, who picked up 121 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Branson's defense and their five sacks. In that department, Peter Hudson was the leader with two. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.1 total tackles per game.

Branson pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.5 points. As for Roseland University Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Branson will head out to face off against Stuart Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stuart Hall knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Branson likes a good challenge. Roseland University Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
