South Panola had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Holden Daleke sure wasn't going down easily. Daleke pitched 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs he has had since back in March of 2024. What's more, he also posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Panola is a perfect 4-0 against Clarksdale going back to February of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
