Volleyball Game Preview: Christ the King Gladiators vs. Wolcott College Prep Wolves

The Christ the King Gladiators will challenge the Wolcott College Prep Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Christ the King is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Christ the King didn't have quite enough to beat Northtown and fell 2-1.

Christ the King started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Wolcott College Prep came up short against Morgan Park Academy on Friday and fell 2-0. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-14.

Christ the King now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Wolcott College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Christ the King beat Wolcott College Prep 2-0 in their previous matchup back in August. Do the Gladiators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
