Basketball Game Preview: Redford Union Panthers vs. Ferndale Eagles

Redford Union is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They strolled past Lincoln-King Academy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 42-27.

Meanwhile, Ferndale blew past Lamphere, posting a 62-28 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Rams are ranked 550th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Redford Union's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-17. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.8 points on average over those games. As for Ferndale, their win bumped their record up to 9-15.
