Volleyball Recap: Eastern Randolph Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Eastern Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Randleman Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Eastern Randolph was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 25-14.

Mirianna Corea paced Eastern Randolph's offense, picking up nine kills. Corea got some help from Callie Craven and her 17 assists. Finally, Corea was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Eastern Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Randleman, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Eastern Randolph will head out on the road to take on Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Randleman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ledford at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
