Baseball Game Preview: Skyview Storm vs. Camas Papermakers

Skyview hasn't had much luck against Camas recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Storm will be playing at home against the Papermakers at 4:30 p.m. Skyview's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Camas' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Skyview's offense. They came up short against Battle Ground on Thursday, falling 6-0. Considering the last time the Storm couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Camas had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a run and slipped past Union 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Papermakers have posted since April 21, 2025.

Camas' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 8-8. As for Skyview, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
