Volleyball Recap: Panther Creek Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Panther Creek kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Leesville Road Pride. The Catamounts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pride apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-16.

Leesville Road got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hayden Perry out in front who had 13 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Perry a new career-high. Taylor Pasternak was another key player, getting 12 digs and three aces.

The win got Leesville Road back to even at 2-2.

Panther Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Falls Lake on the 22nd. As for Leesville Road, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pride are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
