Baseball Recap: Pine Forest Comes Up Short

Pine Forest lost against Fort Walton Beach back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pine Forest Eagles lost 12-3 to the Fort Walton Beach Vikings.

Ja'Len Rawls was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Char'Son Floyd, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Pine Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fort Walton Beach, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Pine Forest will venture away from home to take on Milton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Walton Beach, they will host Freeport at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
