Baseball Recap: Citronelle Comes Up Short on the Road Against Greene County

Citronelle had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greene County Wildcats. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Citronelle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Reid, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats take on the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Greene County, they will square off against Washington County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
