Baseball Recap: Harris-Lake Park Wins Going Away Against Trinity Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Sioux, Harris-Lake Park was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Trinity Christian Tigers. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Harris-Lake Park is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Harris-Lake Park has already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Sibley-Ocheyedan on the 1st. As for Trinity Christian, they will challenge Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
