Hd Davis Goes Supernova in Wolfe City Victory

Hd Davis's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his tenth-straight game with 102+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 255 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 15.0 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 55 yards.

The win was the third in a row for Wolfe City, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Davis and Wolfe City will look to defend their home field on Friday against Tom Bean at 7:00 p.m.

Rogers Came Up Big in Tom Bean's 10-7 Defeat

Bobby Rogers put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 94 yards, and also caught a touchdown.

Unfortunately for Alvord, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Rogers. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Rogers saw the Bulldogs), he threw for 248 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns.

Carson Herron Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Friday, Wolfe City got the W thanks in part to Carson Herron playing the best football he has all season. Herron rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 64 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 5-for-5 passing.

For the year, Herron has thrown 9 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 108.7 passing yards per game.

Tioga Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Rocky Urich

Tioga picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Rocky Urich. Urich did his part (and then some), throwing for 419 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 51 yards on only seven carries for the 'W'.

Tioga's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. Urich and Tioga will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Alvord at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Johnny Dorpinghaus Crosses Big Stat Threshold
