Baseball Recap: Lincoln Has No Trouble Against Sioux City West

Lincoln was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Sioux City West on Thursday. The Lynx blew past the Wolverines 7-1. This was a revenge game for the Lynx: when they faced off against the Wolverines on Thursday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

George Garst spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

At the plate, Greyson Clark and Treyton Cook did most of the damage at the plate: Clark went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs, while Cook went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Lincoln is 2-1 when Clark posts two or more runs, but 3-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jordan Hargrave, who went 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI.
