Basketball Recap: Waverly Central Comes Up Short

Waverly Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 69-59 to the Camden Central Lions. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 54-42.

Waverly Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Camden Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-9.

Waverly Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Camden Central, they will take on Huntingdon at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Huntingdon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Camden Central likes a good challenge.
