Rutgers hopes to pull in pair of big-name instate stars on or after Feb. 2.
The countdown to National Signing Day still offers plenty of drama and intrigue, although most of New Jersey's finest have previously offered their verbal pledges. By week's end, we will finally learn where the state's two best prospects will embark upon their promising collegiate careers.

Marquise Wright, their respective decision days will end years of being courted by national powers from coast to coast.
But for Rutgers, their decision days could help Greg Schiano's program reverse field - both in recruiting battles for the state's top prep stars who still seem more eager to go elsewhere and also after an unbecoming 4-8 performance in 2010.
Huggins and Wright each count Rutgers among their finalists. Unquestionably, they are potential program-shifters: Huggins could step in immediately and become the Scarlet Knights' best running back since Baltimore Ravens star Ray Rice, while Wright would provide an elite and sorely needed run-stopper.
Of course, this is all best-case-scenario conjecture for Schiano until Huggins and Wright decide whether to follow Long Branch athlete

Huggins is also considering North Carolina and Notre Dame, while Wright is pondering Michigan State - and according to Monday report from The Record, Miami and the school he committed to last summer, Pittsburgh, may also remain in the mix.
