Basketball Recap: Merrill Comes Up Short

Merrill lost against D.C. Everest back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Merrill Bluejays took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the D.C. Everest Evergreens.

Merrill's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for D.C. Everest, they now also have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Merrill will host Marshfield at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Marshfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Merrill surely won't give up without a fight. As for D.C. Everest, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at 7:15 p.m. D.C. Everest is facing Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at the right time seeing as Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
