Basketball Recap: Nehemiah Davis' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Parkwood over Sun Valley

Parkwood was the 67-55 winner over Sun Valley when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolf Pack fell 67-62 to the Spartans on Friday.

Several Wolf Pack players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nehemiah Davis, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Davis has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Asher Terry also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Noah McKinney had an outrageously good game for Sun Valley as he shot 62% from the field to rack up 25 points. With that strong performance, McKinney is now averaging an impressive 16.4 points per game. Thanasi M Papazis was another key player, putting up eight points and ten boards.

Parkwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Sun Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Parkwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-57 loss against Ballantyne Ridge on the 9th. As for Sun Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 71-66 win against Christ the King on the 6th.
