Volleyball Recap: Edison Tigers vs. Madera South Stallions

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, Edison was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Madera South Stallions by a score of 3-1. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 loss the Stallions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 24-26, 25-11, 25-20.

Allysson Daza and Kaionna Morris certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Daza had 19 digs, while Morris had eight kills and five digs.

The victory got Edison back to even at 5-5. As for Madera South, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Edison will square off against McLane at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madera South, they will head out to square off against Reedley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
