Football Game Preview: North Union Wildcats vs. Carlisle Indians + How To Watch

The North Union Wildcats will head out to challenge the Carlisle Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

North Union is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 47-14 win over Williamsburg. With North Union ahead 34-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Nick Vanhoose and Gray Robinson. Vanhoose had a great game and rushed for 121 yards and two TDs. Meanwhile, Robinson was balling out in the loss, rushing for 101 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Meanwhile, Carlisle waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-41 W against the Falcons. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Indians were the better team in the second half.

Carlisle's win came from a few key players North Union will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kolby Morgerson, who threw for 289 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a pair of TDs on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Drew Conger was Morgerson's top target, picking up 93 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 32 yards.

North Union's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Carlisle, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
