Basketball Recap: Central Carolina Academy Eagles vs. Lee Christian Falcons

Central Carolina Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 52-48 to the Lee Christian Falcons.

Despite the loss, Central Carolina Academy still got an impressive performance from Jax Gaddy, who posted 18 points.

Leading Lee Christian to victory were Camdin Ayers and Cayce Schoolcraft. Ayers almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds, while Schoolcraft dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Schoolcraft a new career-high in assists (six). Graeme Roland was another key player, putting up six points and six boards.

Central Carolina Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-16 loss against Cornerstone Charter on the 14th. As for Lee Christian, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
