The Pleasant Grove Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Westlake Thunder at 6:00 p.m. Pleasant Grove is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
After only 21 points in their last match, Pleasant Grove made sure to put some points up on the board against American Fork on Tuesday. Pleasant Grove walked away with a 56-48 victory over American Fork.
Meanwhile, Westlake faced Lehi in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Westlake took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lehi on Tuesday.
Pleasant Grove's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Westlake, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7.
Pleasant Grove came up short against Westlake when the teams last played back in January, falling 48-39. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Westlake's Austyn Feller, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
