After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Greene, West Greene was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Unaka Rangers. This was payback for the Buffaloes, who suffered a 12-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Abigail Cluesman made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Cluesman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
