Soccer Recap: Neumann Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Neumann and Mason Classical Academy, and Mason Classical Academy kept the tradition alive. The Celtics lost 4-1 to the Paladins on Thursday. The match was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Neumann it sure didn't stay that way.

Neumann's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mason Classical Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Looking ahead, Neumann will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mason Classical Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Donahue Catholic on the 17th.
