Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Rhys Zinn and Madilynn Benne Lead Lee's Summit North to Victory

Lee's Summit North extended their postseason success on Saturday against Park Hill. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Broncos have posted against the Trojans since October 14, 2021.

Lee's Summit North not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Park Hill between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-16.

Lee's Summit North was led to victory by Madilynn Benne and Rhys Zinn. Benne had seven digs and four assists, while Zinn hit 100% for eight kills and three digs and three blocks. That's the most kills Zinn has posted since back in October.

Lee's Summit North is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-7 record this season. As for Park Hill, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5.

Coming up, Lee's Summit North will square off against Incarnate Word Academy on Thursday. Park Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
