Softball Recap: Henry County Victorious

Henry County's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Huntingdon Mustangs. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Irelynn Beecham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Reed Jackson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Madaline Moroni was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
