Baseball Recap: Ogemaw Heights' Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Ogemaw Heights lost to Gladwin back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Falcons walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Flying G's. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Noah Tomczak tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Robbie Hock was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for Ogemaw Heights: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-10 otherwise. Conner Lambert was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two triples.

Ogemaw Heights' victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Gladwin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.

As of now, neither Ogemaw Heights nor the Flying G's have any future games scheduled.
