Basketball Recap: North Eugene Triumphs

North Eugene picked up another tournament win on Saturday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 44-43 win over the Newberg Tigers.

North Eugene now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Newberg, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, North Eugene is taking a road trip to take on Sprague at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Newberg, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Central at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
