Softball Recap: Foothill Tech Triumphs

Foothill Tech was handed an eight-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Buena Bulldogs 7-5. For the Dragons, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2017.

The team relied heavily on Jocelyn Morales, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

The win got Foothill Tech back to even at 1-1.

Foothill Tech has already played their next contest, an 18-6 victory against Carpinteria on the 24th. As for Buena, they will take on St. Bonaventure at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
