Basketball Recap: Freedom Area Takes a Loss

Freedom Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 49-27 to the Laurel Spartans.

Freedom Area's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Laurel, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freedom Area will head out to take on Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Laurel, they will face off against Rochester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
