Basketball Recap: Overlake Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Overlake lost against King back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Overlake Owls fell to the King's Knights 51-47.

Overlake's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for King's, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Overlake will host Bear Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for King's, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northwest at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. King's is facing Northwest at the right time seeing as Northwest is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
