Football Preview: Orestimba Warriors vs. Sonora Wildcats        
        
		
             The Orestimba Warriors will head out on the road to  face off against  the Sonora Wildcats  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated after  four-games, but that won't be the case come Friday.
 Orestimba's defense heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  50-0 victory over Modesto Christian on the road. That 50 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.
 Orestimba got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jacob Valenzuela out in front who threw for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes.  Nicolas Cuevas was in the mix  too, providing Orestimba with two touchdowns.

 Meanwhile, Sonora hadn't done well against Escalon recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Everything went Sonora's way against Escalon as Sonora made off with  a  35-14 victory. Given the Wildcats' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 102nd, while the Cougars are ranked 279th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 It was another big night for  Tommy Sutton, who rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 108.8  rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was  Brody Speer, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: Sonora was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 316  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 213  rushing yards in four consecutive  matchups.
 Orestimba's record now sits at 4-0. As for Sonora, their win was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-0.
 Friday's   game might be decided in the on the ground. Orestimba has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 234.2  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Sonora struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 282.5. It's looking like  Friday's  match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
 Orestimba was taken down by Sonora 62-6 when the teams last played  back in November of 2015. That  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Orestimba was down  41-0.
