Volleyball Recap: McMinn Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sweetwater on Tuesday, McMinn Central came back down to earth. The Chargers lost 3-0 to the Meigs County Tigers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss last Tuesday.

McMinn Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Meigs County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, McMinn Central and Signal Mountain will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meigs County, they will square off against Hixson on Monday.
