Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest lost against Stansbury back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hillcrest lost 11-4 to Stansbury. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillcrest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Villasmil Hern?ndez, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Andy Gonzales also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Stansbury, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

While Hillcrest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
