Baseball Game Preview: Westlake Wildcats vs. Croton-Harmon Tigers

For the second straight game, Westlake will face off against Croton-Harmon. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m.

Westlake fell victim to Croton-Harmon and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Westlake saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Pippo, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

The victory (which was Croton-Harmon's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Westlake, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
