Basketball Game Preview: Salisbury Township Falcons vs. Saucon Valley Panthers

Salisbury Township and Saucon Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Salisbury Township Falcons just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Saucon Valley Panthers at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Salisbury Township is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest victory since December 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 60-33 win over Moravian Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saucon Valley). They blew past Northern Lehigh 81-61 on Friday. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 51.5 points per game.

Salisbury Township better keep an eye on Adam Clark. He was instrumental in Saucon Valley's win, dropping a double-double on 34 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Clark is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. Jack Robertson was another key player, going 7 of 15 en route to 17 points along with eight boards and six assists.

Saucon Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Salisbury Township is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Saucon Valley, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
