Softball Recap: Cloverleaf Comes Up Short

Cloverleaf lost to Field on April 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colts lost 15-1 to the Falcons. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madelyn Sweitzer was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Cloverleaf's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Field, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cloverleaf will venture away from home to face off against Ravenna at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Field, they will head out to square off against Hoover at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
