Volleyball Game Preview: Tustin Tillers vs. Downey Vikings

The Tustin Tillers are taking a road trip to square off against the Downey Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tustin saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Whittier by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Tustin sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 26-24, 20-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Downey had already won 13 in a row and they went ahead and made it 14 on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Matadores as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Tustin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season. As for Downey, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
