A Season-Best Effort from J'vien Adams Leads Iowa over Leesville
Iowa was led to victory by J'Vien Adams, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Adams rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

While Xavier Ford delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Leesville. Nobody could stop Ford as he rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately for Iowa, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Ford. When Ford last faced the Yellowjackets back in September of 2023, he rushed for 264 yards and three touchdowns.
