Franklin County came into Thursday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a run and slipped past the Marshall County Tigers 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-9 back in March.

Franklin County's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Marshall County, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

Coming up, Franklin County will venture away from home to take on Warren County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marshall County, they will host Eagleville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
