Baseball Game Preview: Jimtown Jimmies vs. South Central Satellites

The Jimtown Jimmies will head out to take on the South Central Satellites at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Jimtown is leaving town to face South Central after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Jimmies fell 8-5 to Mishawaka two weeks ago. The Jimmies have struggled against the Cavemen recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Jimtown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dalton Cook, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Connor Christman was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, South Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 9-3 to Fairfield.
