Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mill Valley). They claimed a resounding 91-33 victory over the Harmon Hawks. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Hawks are ranked 296th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mill Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.3 points per game. As for Harmon, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Mill Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Shawnee Mission Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Mill Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Shawnee Mission Northwest likes a good challenge. As for Harmon, they will face off against Turner at 7:01 p.m. on January 28th.
