Basketball Recap: Fairfield Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Fairfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 63-55 victory over the Garrett Railroaders on Thursday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Railroaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Garrett lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Carter Coffman, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Armstrong, who earned nine points and three steals.

The victory got Fairfield back to even at 8-8. As for Garrett, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-5 record this season.

Coming up, Fairfield will head out to face off against Bethany Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethany Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.4 points per game this season. As for Garrett, they will host Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th.
