Football Game Preview: Caverna Colonels vs. Fulton County Pilots + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Caverna will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will square off against the Fulton County Pilots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Caverna put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They took a 40-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Christian County. Caverna has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Fulton County came up short against Lake County on Friday and fell 47-34. The loss continues a trend for the Pilots in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost five in a row.

Caverna will have to contain Preston Smith as he made an impact in Fulton County's last game. He threw for 311 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 39 yards and one touchdown. A healthy portion of Smith's aerial production (81 yards to be exact) went to Drake Thorpe.

Caverna's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fulton County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Caverna against Fulton County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 60-12 win. In that game, the Colonels amassed a halftime lead of 44-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
