Baseball Game Preview: Colton Vikings vs. Kennedy Trojans

For the second straight game, Colton will face off against Kennedy. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Colton: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Kennedy has snatched up 13 consecutive wins on the road.

Colton came up short against Kennedy on Wednesday, falling 17-3.

Colton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Weinberger, who went 1-for-2 with two runs. Weinberger has become a key player for the Vikings: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-10 otherwise. Zechariah Behrens also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Colton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
