Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Hermiston Bulldogs

The Ridgeline Falcons will take on the Hermiston Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ridgeline is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They secured a 54-48 W over University. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ridgeline's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madilyn Crowley, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards. Crowley is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Cayce Paske was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven boards.

Ridgeline smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Hermiston posted their biggest win since January 24th on Thursday. They blew past Southridge 65-44. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Ridgeline's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points over those games. As for Hermiston, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13.
