Softball Recap: Evansville Bosse Comes Up Short

Evansville Bosse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-2 to the North Knox Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 21-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Evansville Bosse saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eliana Tibnol, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That run marked the first that Tibnol has scored this season.

Evansville Bosse's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for North Knox, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evansville Bosse will take on Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Knox, they will challenge Sullivan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
