The Berlin Indians will head out to square off against the Port Washington Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berlin is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.

Berlin came up short against Valley Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Berlin had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-23.

Even though they lost, Berlin was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Port Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of West Bend East by a score of 3-2. While the Pirates didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Suns 25-22 in the first set.

Port Washington took West Bend East into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-21, 22-25, 16-14.

Berlin's loss dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Port Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-17.
